Time Out says

Pretensions abound in this uninvolving slice of artsy, low-budget British melodrama. Fleeing her bullying tabloid journo husband, neurotic French war photographer Emma (Jeanne Balibar) arrives with her kids at a remote Welsh farm looking for her ex-lover, only to find that he committed suicide a month earlier. Shacking up with the dead man’s chiselled son Zac (Gavin Fowler), she attempts to shuffle off the constraints of her old life.

‘Delight’ is competently directed and the rustic Welsh landscape is nicely photographed. But the performances are tame, the plinky acoustic soundtrack is tacky and invasive and the script is dire, crammed with those cringe-inducing, pseudo-meaningful gnomic utterances only ever spoken by characters in bad indie movies. The film is chiefly notable for the lurking, occasional presence of Sue Jones-Davies, largely unseen on our screens since her memorable turn as Judith in ‘Monty Python’s Life of Brian’
