The subject matter seems run of the mill today, but in 1972 it was probably radical in it's way. The series was better - this is toe-curlingly bad . . . Still, its a real period piece, worth watching for the seventies style production values and unintentional comedy.
Time Out saysSpinoff from the muddled ecological teleseries, with the gang of scientists here investigating the effects of a sunken oil tanker on the inhabitants of a remote island off the Cornish coast. Predictably, the serious intentions of the original series have been forsaken on the big screen for a half-baked horror thriller.
