Time Out saysFirst of Lubin's sextet of Universal comedies 'starring' Francis the Talking Mule alongside Donald O'Connor. With information culled (as near as dammit) from the horse's mouth, raw second lieutenant O'Connor becomes a hero of the Burma campaign and, not unnaturally, a candidate for the funny farm. The series pegged out when Charles Lamont and Mickey Rooney replaced Lubin and O'Connor in 1955. Chill Wills provided Francis' voice.
