A tour of the landmark exhibition Goya: The Portraits on display at the National Gallery in London

Here’s the latest in the Exhibition on Screen series of documentary tours around blockbuster art exhibits. Along with some knowledgeable experts and an iffy recreation of the artist by an actor wearing stick-on sideburns, we take a nose around the National Gallery’s show of Goya portraits (which runs until January 10).

The point of the series is perhaps to give out-of-towners a chance to see shows they’d ordinarily miss. For know-nothing-about-art Londoners like me, they’re an interesting-to-a-point GSCE art history lesson. Though ‘Goya’ suffers from TMI. Did we need to know the artist was a fan of sausages?
