Time Out says

Warren (Johnny Harris) is a Morecambe & Wise obsessive utterly determined to make it as a comedian himself. Clarke (Noel Clarke) professes himself happy enough entertaining the customers at the Greek restaurant. After a meet-cute at a comedy club’s open-mic spot, an unlikely duo is born, but do they really have an act which deserves the spotlight or are they just kidding themselves? It’s a question this half-formed début feature from TV comic Ben Miller seems in no hurry to answer, given that the wide-eyed, whipcord-veined Harris’s uptight demeanour offers no rib-tickling presence whatsoever, and the duo’s material barely raises a smirk. The ever affable Clarke is an amiable, but somewhat less driven foil, so presumably we’re looking at one guy with the desire but not the talent and the other… well, you get the picture. The milieu’s convincing, especially when a busload of top comedy names show up at an awards after-party, yet the point of the whole exercise remains elusive, the entertainment value fitful.
