Time Out says
Raw, radical, post-Reservoir Dogs thriller from the Basque new wave. A portrait of the hopelessness of youth - with violent trimmings - the film centres on the character of Alex, a muttering, lovelorn punkess with the word 'Void' inscribed on her pate. This is her day: 'Shitty hopheads, shitty work, spiderman shorts, the old woman's coffeepot, Esteban's thumb, the stiff, those two bastards...who the fuck loves me?' The salty, confrontational dialogue, jumpcuts, handheld camerawork and grotesque black comic elements all signal 26-year-old writer/director Calparsoro as a significant talent, while Nimry is outstanding in the lead role.
