Darker humour than you might anticipate raises this erratic teen comedy out of the usual rut. Hawke thinks he's got it made when brother McNamara sets him up with siren next door Teri Polo, but he's about to become an unwitting pawn in his brother's dodgy business dealings as a corpse turns up in the back of the car.   • The movie wasn't called Just another night, the title was Mystery Date. A very funny screenplay that somehow didn't translate as well on film..direction or actors ? It's still a kick to watch though!
