Time Out says

The daughters of a separated Russian Jewish family in Paris, single singer Louba (Azéma), successful married Sonia (Béart) and sharp-mouthed gamine Milla (Gainsbourg), convene before Christmas for their stepfather's funeral. As the 25th approaches, they argue about the cake (Bûche de Noël), and revelations tumble on the girls, their husbands/lovers and their parents. The daughters' real father is hospitalised for heart problems, and emotions burst out all over. Legrand's lush jingles accompany the deliberately kitsch 'Xmas' inserts; Dean Martin croons the Yuletide classics; and it ends with a flood of violins accompanying 'My Yiddisher Momma'.
