Time Out says

Disappointing (but atmospherically shot) conspiracy thriller that doesn't deliver on its almost ambitious premise. A reclusive young man is arrested for murder but escapes custody and proceeds to communicate with the investigating detective (Agutter) the likely reasons behind the demise. Flat scripting and muted performances fail to engage.
