Time Out saysEnglish rose Sara (Beckinsale) and seasoned New Yorker Jonathan (Cusack) meet by accident over a cashmere glove in Bloomingdale's. She believes in fate, yet the signs are against them. Years later, when each is unhappily betrothed to another, they both grab their best mates for an identical last fling: a quest to find the mysterious stranger who stole their heart in NY's famous store. Cusack usually makes good film choices, but not this time. Despite borrowing two of its supporting cast from TV's Sex and the City, the film has no bite and too few jokes; its unabashed romanticism is just plain flimsy when a vapid Beckinsale is supposedly The One.
