Time Out says

English whimsy at its mildest follows the fuss and consternation when convalescent airman MacGinnis and his nurse John discover a pair of tawny pipits nesting in the meadow near their Cotswold village. It's a rare event, since the birds have only once been sighted in England before, so the whole local community ends up guarding the spot day and night to ward off prospective egg-snatchers. Scripted by the directors and printed in sepia.
