The Brylcreem Boys

Time Out saysWWII, neutral Ireland: German and Allied soldiers share the same prison camps. The potentially rewarding premise is wasted in a whimsical comedy that resorts to predictable plot twists and character development, to national stereotyping, and to the convention of having two guys on different sides fall for the same girl. Byrne does his best as the camp commander, but the dice are loaded.
