The Devil in Miss Jones

The late Justine Jones (Spelvin, non-glamorous, the most striking presence in hardcore) finds herself facing eternal damnation for slitting her wrist and negotiates a stay of execution so that she can sample all the lusts she never indulged in while alive. The episodes she goes through are standard for hardcore of the period (a lesson in blow-jobbing from the hirsute Harry Reems, lesbian massage, masturbation games and assorted threesomes), but the pay-off is straight outta Sartre's Huis Clos: she's locked in a cell with a helpless paranoid who refuses to gratify her - played by Damiano himself under the name 'Albert Gork'. The film's modest ambitions once seemed phenomenal for the genre, but the only elements of lasting interest are Spelvin's performance and the climactic 'sandwich' scene, in which Miss Jones enquires of the two men taking her whether they can feel their cocks rubbing together inside her.

Nesbit of Tuttle

This film was cutting edge. It pressed the boundaries of censorship. Georgina Spelvin is wickedly sexy. Her sexiness increased as the plot unfolded. If I may be so bold to say, seeing the aroused spinster having her 1st cock was and still is a major turn on. Total classic!

When I was a young man, I watched dozens of X rated movies. However, there were only three that I recall being worth the time. These are: 1. The Adventures of Buttman. 2. Deep Throat. 3. The Devil in Mrs. Jones. Of the three, The Devil in Mrs. Jones is the only one that encourages any Deep Thinking. If you see only one X rated movie, I recommend this one.
