When I saw this extraordinarily engaging film, there was laughter and stifled tears and then you could hear a pin drop. Everyone was transfixed. We were caught up in the full range of emotions, a feast for the senses, swept along by the passionate performances of actors at the street theatre and the people of Port Talbot, their moving stories and memories told through the eyes of the 'teacher', the Christ like figure of the passion play that thousands of people witnessed Easter 2011. There's inspired use of colour to separate real from not real and some glorious music. It’s quite an observation of how a crowd behaves, of the fear and anger brought on by oppression, of taking responsibility and modern obsessions with celebrity and recording everything on phone cameras. Its such a wonderfully woven film/street theatre telling of this timeless story. Awesome!
