Time Out says

A neglected wife (Gardner), her husband (Granger) and an admirer (Niven) are shipwrecked on a desert island. André Roussin's stage farce ran for two years in Paris, and almost three in London (in an adaptation by Nancy Mitford), but this screen version is unbelievably bad; all talk, no action, and utterly superficial. These three layabouts wouldn't survive five minutes on a traffic island.
