We're all for a good dose of culture, but when you're looking for a night of pure entertainment, highbrow cinema just isn't going to do the job. We wanted to pin down the most gloriously cheesy, fuzzily heartwarming, overly emotional and downright fun guilty pleasure in the history of cinema, and we asked you to help us by casting your vote in our poll. See which film you voted as your favourite in the results below.

This August '80s pop takes centre stage as Guilty Pleasures Cinema Party – in conjunction with Time Out Live and MGM HD – transforms the Troxy and brings the silver screen to life with ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’, Madonna's big screen debut.

Along with a full film screening, revellers will be transported to the dizzy heights of hot trash and free-spirited sass - NYC-style - with an '80s disco, go-go dancers, top London cabaret performers, ‘Many Madonnas’ bad look-a-likes, magic acts, dressing up boxes and photo booths. Guilty Pleasures-themed food and cocktails will be on offer all night, and '80s fancy dress positively encouraged.

I am a 38yr old (hetrosexual!) male - quite amazed by people's guilty pleasures, as they are in my cool list : / Whip It = just the best chick flick ever Coyote Ugly = if I am a bit emotional, may actually make me cry at the end She's The Man = makes me giggle like a schoolgirl Spongebob Squarepants Movie = The Hoff as a speedboat Hostel = after a hectic day shopping or a stressful day at work
