Survivors of the zombie apocalypse are crammed inside a high-walled metropolis patrolled by General Grigio and his troops. The general's feisty teenager daughter, Julie, ventures into the dead zone with her boyfriend Perry. They come under attack from zombies, one of whom - R - kills Perry and devours the boyfriend's brain, which transfers memories of Julie. Something stirs within the zombie and he rebels against his carnivorous nature to protect the terrified girlfriend.

  • Every now and then a film comes from left field and hits it out of the park. I haven't enjoyed a film as much for a long time. Yes the review is right as its plays fast and loose with the horror genre but the comic timing is right on the button and the music choices are superb. Very possibly an "American Werewolf in London" for this generation. A good four star film and a film that will be shown in last night screenings in years to come. Apart from Flight probably the best film I have seen this year.

  • I'm sorry Timeout but you really need to improve your site. I typed in Warm Bodies and apparently, it can't find any cinema listings for it, even though it's currently on release.
