Great list - only I'm not a Londoner myself and not familiar with streets name. as a result I have to find out for each restaurant where it is located, to decide if I'm going to visit it or not. It's tedious; could you please be so kind to add, for example "Kensington", or "Soho" after the postcode? or the tube stop? Thanks

In the previous comment there is a typo. It should read Bryanston Street as the address for La Porte Des Indes.

For some reason, many people are becoming more confident about hosting dinner parties. Maybe it is the influence of all the TV shows like Dinner Date and Come Dine With Me, or Saturday Kitchen, but we have covered more and more dinner parties than ever before. http://www.steelbandhire.com/ However, it is nice to go out and have a top restaurant prepare it all for you. My favourite is still La Porte Des Indes which is on Branston Street.

I've visited Hawksmoor Seven Dials on several occasions and whilst it's very good I can't believe it's the best London has to offer
