Fringe directors

Apart from the JMK Trust and the Young Vic’s  Genesis project, young British directors get little help. So hats off to Amelia Nicholson and Chris Haydon whose Arcola shows revealed serious talent.

I have no interest in cycling but this was a gripping play. I'm looking forward to seeing their next productions, in fact I shall make an effort to do so.

Pedal Pusher was absolutely spell binding. As a cyclist the idea of protesting the greatest cycling story of all time seemed doubtful on such a small scale but the beautiful way they represented the races got my heart racing!
