Ever left your false teeth, harpoon gun or breast implants on the tube? Well, someone out there has. Welcome to the archive of the unwittingly discarded that is London Underground’s fabled Lost Property Office (LPO). Tucked around the side of Baker Street station it has been a fixture since 1933. The office collects, collates and returns lost items, not just found on the tube, but on buses, the DLR, at Victoria Coach station and in the city’s black cabs - creating a fascinating footnote to London history in the process.
