Dinky, chintzy and hidden down a flight of steps, this single-room bar is like going back in time. It has the delightful ambience of a 1920s tearoom, complete with tablecloths and flowery wallpaper. Great place, great wine, great service... fantastic atmosphere...
Phew! for moment there I thought TO may have done its homework and were going to tell the world about some great bars and spots I like to visit (killing any point in ever going again). Thankfully I see they have just gone through back issues from last 10 years and just stuck random places in, which in truth may be quirky, but you wouldnt go twice!
Great little bar with lots of atmosphere. Haven't tried the food but the wide range of wines cannot be beaten. For the Oz and Kiwis, this is owned by Don Hewitson (Iain's brother).
