Graffiti artist or gallery artist? Saviour of street art or total sell-out? Whatever you think of the almost-invisible Bristolian, you've probably come across some of his work around London. Flick through our gallery and see some you might have spotted and some which may have vanished altogether...
Of course you can get your mitts on your own Banksy - a new work features on the cover of the magazine out March 2 2010. Order yours here.
But the difference is it's not piss is it? It's interesting contemporary stylized art, it gets people talking, and it's fun to spot them. Unlike the shoddy name tagging graffitti that is in fact a marking of territory, this gives a great facelift to some of the more dire buildings out there. True it is vandalism, but it's petty crime and I bet there aren't many people that can say that they have never ever broken the law.
