Time Out wins the 2008 Stonewall award for Publication of the Year
Time Out beat The Independent, the Herald and gay magazines Attitude and Out In The City to win Publication of the Year at the Stonewall Awards 2008. Judges included Diane Abbot MP, Dawn Airey, Antony Cotton, Maggi Hambling and Mark Palmer-Edgemecumbe of sponsors Barclays.
The judges described Time Out as 'the indispensable guide to what's on in London' and praised us for our dedicated Gay & Lesbian section which, in addition to the commercial scene, also lists more alternative venues, arts and cultural events.
They also praised the Time Out Gay Guide as further sign of our commitment to lesbian and gay life in the capital.
