Pride used to come once a year. Now it comes twice (if you include Soho Pride) or even three times (if you include Brighton Pride). This year's Pride London parade starts from Baker Street at 1pm, heading along Oxford Street, down Regent Street and ending in Trafalgar Square. This
year's theme is 'Come Out And Play'. The parade ends with a gathering
in Trafalgar Square, with speakers and entertainers from 3pm. Plus
there'll be entertainment in Soho with various gay venues hosting their
own sound stages. See right for details of Pride-related events and after-parties happening all over town.

Gay shame. Unfortunately an over-rated and pretentious shambles with no atmosphere and really unfriendly organisers. Considering it's price and it's distance from Soho for an event on pride weekend, it's just not worth it.
Gay Shame is neither at the O2 Arena or the Coronet - it is at Brixton Academy and this is the last one after running for 12 years or so.
It is mainly run by the Duckie crew as is a tongue in cheek sideways look at Pride.
People should try not to take things so seriously...
Why doesn't this mention the festival fortnight? There's a whole bunch of stuff happening before the parade that isn't been advertised on here?
Gay Shame is a seperate less commercialised pride event, this year being held at the o2 arena, should be amazing!
Go to duckie.co.uk if you're interested.
Is the writer trying to be funny or just offensive? Titling this article "Gay Shame" could send out very mixed messages; irnoy doesnt work so well written down!
re: Gay Shame... because that is the name of the night being held at the Coronet!! Have a great Pride everyone! :o)
Well done to Time Out for titling this page 'Gay Shame'!. That was sarcasim by the way!
