Housed in an imposingly sited white mansion, the Colonnade has been lushly done up in interior-designer traditional – lots of swagged curtains, deep opulent colours, luxurious fabrics and careful arrangements of smoothly upholstered furniture.
Some of the larger high-ceilinged rooms have had mezzanine floors added. Guests breakfast in a subterranean tapas bar. The bar is beneath a front-of-hotel terrace that makes a good spot for lingering with a glass of wine on warm evenings.
