Jenkins Hotel
On the same sweeping crescent as the Harlingford, the Jenkins is a more traditionally English B&B: an episode of Poirot was filmed here. Nevertheless, this Georgian townhouse has a pleasingly informal feel: the check-in desk is located in the owner’s kitchen and guests are welcome to browse through the bookshelf of travel guides. The rooms are painted in soft pastel hues - light yellows, blues and creams - and are relatively tasteful (for the price range). Guests have access to the garden and tennis court out front.
