Morgan House
The Morgan is an archetypal small English B&B: the passages are narrow and the rooms small. The recently spruced-up decor is more serviceable than striking, with pastel walls, traditional iron or wooden beds and print curtains, although framed prints, fireplaces in most rooms and the odd chandelier lend a gracious air. The top-floor rooms are airy and contemporary, including a family room that sleeps four (in a double plus bunk beds). There’s a pleasant patio garden, where guests can chill on a warm evening with a bottle of wine.
