Saint Gregory
The Saint Gregory has got all the ingredients to be fashionable: trendy Shoreditch location, modern building, bold interior design. But for all that, it feels a bit like a Holiday Inn masquerading as a style hotel. Yet that’s no bad thing. The rates, particularly special weekend deals, are reasonable. The staff are chipper. And the bedrooms - decorated in a game attempt at retro chic, right down to the brown and orange colour schemes - are spacious and comfortable. On the top floor, the airy Globe Bar and Restaurant boasts mesmerising views of the City.
