Swiss House Hotel
Don’t expect an Alpine-themed hotel: this Victorian townhouse used to be a private residence for SwissAir crews, hence the name. Still, the whole place has a country fresh appeal and tasteful decor, from the attractive pine furniture to the dark wooden beams in the breakfast room. The bedrooms have a crisp, clean aesthetic, with white walls and classic navy bed linens - a welcome change from the chintz nightmare that is most budget hotels. Pretty good value, for the location.
