Rushmore Hotel
The Rushmore is living proof that, with a bit of imagination, a budget hotel can be beautiful. The hotel’s biggest talking point is the trompe l’oeil paintings that adorn the walls, depicting everything from pastoral Tuscany to tranquil ocean scenes. In some rooms, curtains are draped sensuously over the beds; shoestring travellers need glamour too. The Italianate breakfast room, with its granite surfaces and glass tables, also achieves the impossible: bringing elegance to Earl’s Court.

This hotel is lovely! I had a large double room with a beautiful tiled bathroom. The staff was very friendly and it was an amazing deal. In fact, I am staying there again next month! The Rushmore is a real gem, I almost don't want to share it.
