The London Symphony Orchestra is letting budding musicians aged 7-12 bring along their instruments and join them for this themed concert. Singing, music and craft workshops will take place at the Barbican before the event (an extra ticket must be bought), and there’ll be free activities in the stalls and foyer. A creche is available during the concert for younger children and is free to ticket holders, but must be booked in advance.
This half term, the concert will be themed around Lewis Carroll’s classic text ‘Alice in Wonderland’, colourful characters from the books will be telling stories through music by Maria Antonia Walpurgis, Leroy Anderson, Paul Rissmann Through the Looking-Glass and John Williams.
