'Dude! Where's My Teddy Bear' at the Tricycle Theatre
Children are encouraged to take a bear along to this teddy quest by Jammy Doughnut. Max teddy's missing so Granny and Max retrace their steps which leads them to the beach, where a Bermuda-shirted surfer is, like, totally prepared to help. This is where all the dude-ing starts, and so it goes on, much to the amusement of the children, who wait, all aquiver, for the performers to shriek 'where's my teddy bear!' Throw in some clap-along songs with titles like 'Rock 'n' Roll on a Rocket Ship', belted out to the sound of an electric guitar, and the children are bouncing to that lost teddy beat. There's no denying that the infant crowd find the adventure hugely entertaining: they wave those teddies with gusto, dude. Age 2-7.
