The Word

This year, the Polka's annual literary festival celebrates the theatre's thirtieth birthday. The day is a chance for kids to take part in painting and writing workshops and hear authors, illustrators and poets read and talk about their work. Participating authors include Roger McGough, Caroline Lawrence of the 'Roman Mysteries' books, Polly Dunbar, David Wood and Marcus Sedgwick.
