Time Out says
The Hackney Empire Christmas show is always a highlight of the panto season, and with Hackney regular Susie McKenna at the helm, this year's foray into Aladdin's Cave of Wonders should be no different. It's made more poignant because the theatre is set to close for at least nine months after this show, due to financial difficulties. Take the chance to enjoy the Frank Matcham-designed, listed building while you still can.
