Music and lyrics by Howard Blake, directed by Bill Alexander. Birmingham Rep in Raymond Briggs's wordless tale of a lonely boy who builds a snowman which magically comes alive one night, embellished with delicious choreography by Robert North. Much of the second half is a dance spectacular in which the boy meets Father Christmas in a winter wonderland inhabited by snowmen from all over the globe. The highlight comes when boy and Snowman 'fly' to the tune of Howard Blake's 'Walking In The Air'. Age 2+.
