Music for Youth School Proms

Over the course of three concerts 3,000 young musicians and singers showcase the range and quality of music-making in schools all over the country, demonstrating that while pundits bemoan the lack of focus on the arts in primary and secondary education, in many schools inspirational teachers and enthusiastic, sometimes gifted, pupils are getting on with the business of playing and singing. There's always a great atmosphere at these annual concerts and although there are always lots of friends and family members in the audience, you don't need a personal involvement to get caught up in the performances from orchestras, rock groups, choirs, soul bands and jazz ensembles.
