  • Book adapted by Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi, music by Lebo M, Elton John and Tim Rice. Director and designer Julie Taymor's masks and lithe human/puppet hybrids and Richard Hudson's sets conjure African landscapes and wildlife evocatively and emotion is at times conveyed effectively by the physical theatre but the acting is otherwise mostly disappointing. Lebo M's African additions greatly enhance the score but all the highs in the production are visual. Expect to be stunned – but not involved. Age 8 to adult.

Could you let me know next audition information for Lion King cast, young NALA? I love Lion King and watched the show 3 times in JPN. I can remember almost story's line and keep practicing. I am eager to perform young NALA there by English(not Japanese here) . please let me know that audition chance.

Have your say
