The annual festival of animation is aimed at families with children aged 5-11. It features new and classic films and shorts from all over the world as well as a range of workshops which complement the the themes and animation styles of the festival films. This Saturday's closing gala features a screening of 'Tales of the Riverbank' (John Henderson, 2007, age 5+), a new version of the 1960s TV series with the voices of Stephen Fry and Ardal O'Hanlon. At the workshops children can make an animation in a day or try out techniques such as claymation and Special FX. Booking advised.
