Organic lunch boxes at London Zoo
London Zoo’s resident caterer Leith’s already offers great family meals in the zoo’s lively food court restaurant, and now it is the first London tourist attraction to offer an entirely organic packed lunch box for children. Priced £4.95 and sold in a recyclable box featuring entertaining facts about the animal kingdom, it is a parent-pleasing balance of ‘delicious and nutritious’ foods. It includes healthy items such as raisins and fruit juice, and uses brown bread for the sandwich, but also contains organic crisps and chocolate cake – just the sort of treats a young lad or lady might want to enjoy on a sunny afternoon by the penguin pool.
