'Imagine' children's literature festival

The Southbank Centre's excellent annual literature festival for children - which runs from Feb 12-22 - has been designed to attract kids who don't really do reading, as well as more bookish types
'Imagine' has a wide-ranging programme of performances and workshops mostly aimed at children of five to 11, but there are activities for families with younger children too.
Alongside the paid-for performances in the Purcell Room (tickets £7, children £4.50) by poets Carol Ann Duffy and Brian Patten, writer Cathy Cassidy, storyteller Jan Blake, comedian James Campbell, magician Paul Kieve and performance poet Murray Lachlan Young, there’s a great programme of free entertainment in the Royal Festival Hall.
The Hayward Gallery has chipped in with a programme of workshops inspired by its current show 'Mark Wallinger Curates: The Russian Linesman'. Workshops are free with an exhibition ticket – special offer tickets for family visitors are available. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis (you can collect workshop tokens from The Hayward information point from 11am on the day). An exhibition activity trail designed for families is also available free of charge.
The Southbank Centre’s proximity to attractions such as the London Eye, the BFI Imax and the Movieum at County Hall means it should be easy to plan a grand day out.

I love this site for finding things to do with my son.
I had an idea of how great would it be if there was an area schools could go to to find info on things happening in the capital to arrange school visits and things to do during term time. There are many hidden gems as well as the more well know ones and finding all the info in one place would be fab.
