Exploring the history of women's magazines and their readers, from the seventeenth century to the present day, through articles on subjects from calling-card etiquette to managing a clothing allowance, front covers from both mainstream titles and niche zines and recorded interviews with mag contributors including Claire Rayner and Rosie Boycott. In an accompanying film by Annis Joslin local, contemporary magazine readers voice their opinions. Tours of the exhibition take place on the first Thursday (6.30pm) and last Saturday (12noon) of each month, from March to July. Extended
