Time Out says

Arrive in period dress to experience a 1940s jukebox, demonstrations of museum instruments, a VE Day street recreation, 'make do and mend' workshops and family trails all weekend. On Aug 30 at 3pm there will be a talk by Marguerite Patten on her work for the Ministry of Food during rationing, with the chance to try some dishes. A screening of an extract from David Lean's 1945 movie 'Brief Encounter', with a prelude played on the Mighty Wurlitzer will take place on Aug 31at 3pm.
