Horace Walpole - historian, man of letters and one of the most important collectors of the eighteenth century - is the subject of this exhibition, which evokes the interiors of his gothic revivalist house, Strawberry Hill, by amassing objects including furniture, paintings, ceramics, glass, silverware and sculpture not seen together since they left the house in 1842. The show marks the re-opening of Strawberry Hill after major restoration.
