The Hermès bag - which the company renamed the 'Kelly bag' after the actress appeared with it in a 1956 photograph in Life Magazine - is perhaps the most famous object in this display of hats, jewellery and dresses, including couture gowns by Dior, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Yves St Laurent, worn by Grace Kelly during her career as an actress and as Princess Grace of Monaco. Also included are film clips, posters, photographs and the Oscar statuette won by Kelly for her role in the 1954 film 'The Country Girl'.
