Time Out says Rate it

A small display looking at 15 groundbreaking and popular inventions from this century's first decade, including the Karbon Kinetics 'Gocycle' motorised bike, and Speedo's shark-inspired swimsuit which has now been banned following a controversy that it amounted to 'technological doping'. The way in which certain objects are displayed leaves something to be desired (the Dyson 'Air Multiplier' fan is positioned so that it obscures a diagram explaining how the air flow works; and while we are told that a notable innovation of a new type of wheelchair is that it can be adjusted to fit through doorways, this is difficult to visualise with no supporting illustrations). In other cases it is rewarding to discover the journey that an idea took from inspiration to finished product.
