This exhibition explores the real-life history behind Michael Morpurgo's novel 'War Horse', with objects from the collection, interactive displays, material from Morpurgo's archive, as well as material from the National Theatre production, examining the vital role of the horse during times of conflict. There will also be costumes and props from the Steven Spielberg 'War Horse' film, plus illustrations by the film's equine artist, Ali Bannister. At the centre of the exhibition is a life-sized barbed-wire sculpture of a horse by artist Laura Antebi.

I hope to take my Grand daughter and hopefully my Sister and Nephew. We could not get tickets this holiday for the theatre show so found this event at the Army Museum and decided to attend.
