Time Out says Rate it

An interactive display featuring personal artefacts, videos and photographs collected through the museum's War Story project, which was launched in 2009 to give British service personnel who have served on Operation Herrick the opportunity to record their experiences in Afghanistan. Exhibits include shrapnel retrieved from body armour, a water flask peppered with bullet holes and a Taliban flag captured by troops from 1st Battalion. Also on show are images of 35 British service personnel taken by photographer Richard Ash.
