The process of staging catwalk shows is the subject of this exhibition, which features photographs by Kristin Sinclair, Matthew Lever, Philip Meech and Chris Moore taken on the catwalk and backstage at shows by famous fashion names including Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs. The photographs are displayed alongside clothes by the designers to offer a portrait of the fashion show through elements including 'front row', 'the models', 'the editors' and 'street style' - which shows what models wear when they're not on the runway. The show also looks at the evolution of the catwalk show, from the fashion parades that took place in couture houses in nineteenth-century Paris, and explores how technology has allowed everyone to take their place in the front row.
