This new attraction at the aquarium is home to a shoal of around 20 sharks -including brown sharks and black-tip reef sharks. Visitors pass along a five-metre-long glass walkway to see the creatures swimming inches beneath their feet. The tank is visible from several different levels of the auquarium as it reaches a depth of 19.6m. The display includes a shipwreck and reconstructions of the Easter Island heads. There's also the 'Shark Academy' area, where interactive exhibits illustrate the 450-million-year evolution of the shark.

Sarah - I see your point however the world population of sharks is being decimated to make shark fin soup in Asia. Sadly one day, they will only be visible in aquariums...

Sharks belong in the sea, not in tanks for the amusement of visitors... if you want to see sharks, learn to scuba dive and view them in their natural habitat!
