Time Out says

Open House London weekend is the perfect opportunity to investigate the riverside architecture of the Trinity Buoy Wharf arts enclave at the mouth of the river Lea. As well as a number of historic brick buildings dating from 1840 onwards, there's the ingenious and colourful Container City where artists live and work.

Discover Andrew Baldwin's Sculpture Park, street art by Christiaan Nagel, Paul 'Don' Smith and others and The Time and Tide Bell by Marcus Vergette, which is rung by the river to mark each high tide. Explore London’s only lighthouse, where you can hear Jem Finer's digital composition 'Longplayer' (or a tiny part of it, at least – it's set to play without repetition for a millennium). The Prince's Drawing School, which runs a foundation course at Trinity Buoy Wharf, will offer free life-drawing sessions with a clothed model for all ages from 11am to 4pm (kids must be supervised by adults).

Other highlights include free history and art tours at noon on both days (first come, first served) and the exhibition ‘London Almost Lost’, which include a 1:1500 model of Bloomsbury.

When you get peckish, retire to Bow Creek Café, also housed in a converted shipping container, or the atmospheric 1940s Fatboy’s Diner for lunch or a drink.
